Connecting to NJIT (the same for all OS's):
1. Launching the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client will bring up the login screen. Make sure it says “vpn.njit.edu” in the “Connect to” field and press the Connect button.
2. Please enter group, your username, and password and press the OK button.
Group: select Default split- tunnel (non-NJIT traffic flows normally on an unencrypted internet connection) or Full_Tunnel_(Library_Journals) non-split-tunnel (all internet traffic flows through the VPN connection)
Username: your UCID
Password: your UCID password

1. After downloading the file, simply double click on it to install the Cisco AnyConnect software.
2. Check the 'I accept the terms in the license Agreement' option button, and click Next.
3. Click Install.
4. Click OK.
5. Wait until installation complete.
6. Click Finish.
7. The Cisco AnyConnect client will be added to your Start menu. From now on, you can connect to the NJT VPN by clicking on the “Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client” in your Start menu. Click here to configure your VPN client.
